The Charm City Circulator is a system of 21 FREE shuttles that circulate Baltimore City. As a part of former Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon’s vision of a “cleaner, greener Baltimore," the fleet is made up of 21 DesignLine 2009 EcoSaver IV LF Hybrid Electric vehicles, the first of its type in a major metropolitan area. All residents and tourists are recommended to use this service as it is not only free, but it runs every 15 minutes, 7 days a week and covers 3 routes. The Charm City Circulator bus system is perfect as a connector for a commute to the city by train, bus or commuter lot. It also makes for a great way to get around the city and see highlights of what the great city of Baltimore has to offer.
There are currently three routes for the Charm City Circulator in Downtown Baltimore. The Purple Route which runs North and South stretches from Penn Station, through Mount Vernon, the City Center, Inner Harbor and then loops through Federal Hill.
