It's no secret that Baltimore plays home to some of the best seafood in the nation. From crab cakes to fried shrimp, little neck clams, and more, seafood in Baltimore is plentiful, delicious, and now, up for some serious awards.
Baltimore's Thames Street Oyster House has been picked to head to the Lobster Roll Rumble, the premier lobster roll competition in the country going down in New York City on Thursday, June 7 in New York City.
Held at the Metropolitan Pavillion in NYC's Chelsea neighborhood, this competition will pit 20 of the nation's best lobster roll restaurants against each other in a public-judged competition for the Tasting Table Fan Favorite award.
Thames Street Oyster House will bring their famous New England Lobster Roll to the table. This northeastern delicacy comes with hot tail and claw meat on a buttered and lightly toasted split top bun.
The Lobster Roll Rumble will benefit Share Our Strength and feature great seafood restaurants from across the country including Boston's B&G Oysters, Waterbar Restaurant out of San Francisco, The John Dory Oyster Bar from New York City, JCT. Kitchen and Bar from Atlanta, and many more.
We wish Thames Street Oyster House the best when they venture to the Lobster Roll Rumble on June 7 in New York City.
