Haluk Kantar, the owner of Cazbar, authentic Turkish Taverna in Baltimore, had a vision while serving the traditional pide (pronounced "pee-day"), boat shaped crusts with mediterranean fillings like falafel. He realized the dish could be translated into our popular tomato-sauce pizza pies - and the HomeSlyce concept was born! We opened up our first Baltimore location in 2012.
