Permanently Closed.. The China Room, 100+ year-old piece of Baltimore architecture is now reopen for nightlife! The newly renovated and refurbished Baltimore landmark commands an impressive 8,000 square feet of space. Originally constructed in 1904 as the Farmers and Merchants Bank, the two-story iconic structure boasts 50 foot windows, sweeping Gothic architecture as well as the original's bankers board room newly restored and reappointed as a VIP suite available for rent.
The club's sophistication is apparent in the gold leaf walls adorned with classical artwork and the lavish furniture. Flanked with 3 bars, a spacious dance floor, and state-of-the-art audio and visual enhancements, China Room couples modern day nightlife with classical architecture and antique decor. A giant 15 foot Buddha mounted above the entrance welcomes you to your new entertainment haven.
